All of our cakes are handmade from scratch in our bakery using fresh, natural ingredients. We want our cakes to be comforting and approachable and made like you would at home.
Here’s more about some of the favourites from our recipe book:
- Financier – Gluten and wheat free, this traditional small cake from France is baked in an individual mould, usually in the shape of a small rectangular loaf. Claire Véry, owner of Natural Bread, hails from across the Channel and makes our financiers to her traditional family recipe
- Bakewell Tart – Really moist with a lovely rich almond flavour & a thick layer of strawberry jam
- Orange Polenta – gluten and wheat free with a strong Moroccan influence, inspired by a visit to Marrakech
- Vegan Chocolate Cake - Suitable for vegans and loved by all who try it, this is a rich, dark chocolate cake that is equally good dressed up for a special occasion treat or simply in a slice with your morning coffee
