This month we are celebrating the arrival of Autumn and seasonal produce with our delicious pumpkin tarts.
The tarts are handmade by Claire Véry, to a traditional US recipe: an individual pastry case filled with pumpkin puree, evaporated milk, cinnamon, spices, brown sugar and topped with a crunchy pecan.
We have found that they are particularly good with coffee – there’s something about the combination of pumpkin and spices that is a perfect match for our Hasbean coffees. The tarts are also amazingly light, not too sweet and would make a great Halloween dinner party dessert served warm with clotted cream.
The tarts are available throughout October from our central Woodstock bakery shop, open 7 days a week. They are also available to order by our wholesale & stockist customers.
We sell all of our cakes, as whole cakes / full trays / batches for anyone looking for a special treat to serve at birthdays, weddings and special occasions throughout the year.
